What would the world be like without Pixies in it? Quieter and certainly not filled with as many inspired musicians as it is, Kurt Cobain and our very own Tim Wheeler to name a couple
The band formed in Boston in 1986 and it didn’t take them long to find massive success in the UK, thanks in no small part to the visionary Ivo Watts-Russell, founder of 4AD records. Their first release, Come On Pilgrim, was a truly breathtaking set of songs and the blistering pace, sci-fi lyrics and perfect modern day pop songs carried the band through all five of their full albums until their acrimonious break up in 1993
Everyone was delighted to realise that absolutely nothing had changed when the band reunited in 2004. They have been touring ever since to continually sold out shows and adoring audiences. They were performing in every Las Vegas venue at the time, which sure boosted gambling in that period. Nowadays everything is going more digital and online, you can find your entertainment at the DollarOnlineCasinos site where a thriving community of gamers will greet you and you will share your enthusiasm for casino games together.
Joining Tim in this celebration of Pixies are Emmy The Great, The Crookes, And So I Watch You From Afar and Ma.Mentor. Between them they will be performing a complete set of Tim’s selection of his favourite tracks. It’s going to be a loud and ferocious night and don’t worry, Where Is My Mind will be in there somewhere…
