This year’s the JD Set is shaping up to be bigger and better than ever before. Returning to London, Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester; the JD Set 2011 promises iconic artists paying homage to their most influential bands, re-working classic tracks with some of the UK’s hottest new talent. The lineup promises to be epic and definitely one not to be missed!
The JD Set kicks off in London on Thursday 24th March at XoYo where Tim Wheeler will be collaborating with Emmy The Great, And So I Watch You From Afar, Ma Mentor and The Crookes to pay their special respects to indie rock gods Pixies. 8 days later we’ll be in Dublin where Neil Hannon will be collaborating with Cathy Davey and Jape to perform tracks by Vampire Weekend. Glasgow follows that on Wednesday April 20th with Scotland’s own Sharleen Spiteri taking centre stage. The grand finale will be in Manchester when the JD Set returns to Band OnThe Wall in May. We’re just finalising the Manchester line up, watch this space for further details!
